Amanda was AMAZING -- her warm personality, attention to detail, and willingness to go with the flow made our NYC Elopement more than we could have dreamed of. It rained on our wedding day and she made sure to keep our spirits high. If she can create magic with nonstop rain in NYC in November, she can create magic at anytime -- anyplace.
"After pulling together a last minute outdoor ceremony we found the WONDERFUL Amanda. She was very nice, got to know our group, kept us organized and on track, and made everyone feel comfortable. Everyone loved her and the photos. If you’re looking to get any photos done, I’d 1000% recommend her. It was so much fun and we can’t stop looking at our wedding day."
"Amanda makes you feel safe and heard while giving clear guidance to make the most of your time together. She's flexible and kind — we're already looking for another excuse to hire her. Her photos are unique, creative, and have a specific point of view which is part of why we ultimately went with her for our photos. She is the BEST!"
Yes! I am fully insured and happy to send a COI (certificate of insurance) if you book your session in a hotel or restaurant that requires it.
I don’t have maximums or minimums. My goal with your final gallery is that it tells the story of your love. That being said, most elopement sessions tend to be between 200-300 images
Yes! If you’d like photos in multiple locations/neighborhoods just let me know and I can advise how much time you should book.
Yes! 35mm Film coverage can be added to any booking. Pricing depends on length of coverage. Typically the additional cost comes to +$250 for 3 hour elopement days. Your film photos are delivered digitally!
I want your photoshoot to be perfect! If the day is looking like it will be a total rain-out we can be in communication for a location options. Many hotels and bars do require permission to shoot in their space so all I ask is that you are open to embrace public locations that make for good rain photos!
4-6 weeks depending on season.
All your images will be delivered with editing for exposure, tone, and general look and feel. I edit true-to-color and to the season. This means the colors of your photos will generally look like an enhanced version of what you see with your own eye! In the summer I like to highlight greens and vibrant colors, in the fall I love to bring out oranges, browns, reds and yellows, in the winters I highlight blues, whites and earth tones. You can get a feel for my editing style by looking through my website and social media. As a general rule of thumb, I will only retouch things that can be changed in 2 weeks or less (i.e. pimples, make-up smudges). I do not do any body modification. NYC is a busy city, there is a high chance others will be in the background of your photos. I will do my best to avoid people, and will edit out any obvious distractions, but sometimes it’s the joy of the city to embrace that there are others around! Please consider an early morning shoot or a less popular location if having people around is an issue for you.
Yes! When you look through my portfolio or social media, please keep in mind that 90% of clients you see came to me saying the same thing. I will guide you through poses that work best for your body, energy and how you move. All I ask is that you come willing to “give in” and embrace the process. My goal is that it is fun-filled and you also look great.
Your love deserves to be celebrated! The wedding industry has a not so great history with inclusivity and as creative leader, I strive to be a part of correcting this. I will work with you to make sure your wedding celebration is an experience where all people (you and guests included) feel seen, safe, and valued.
